    I have used a number of methods and plugings to try speed this theme up with no luck.

    currently using a cache plugin and image compressor.

    do you have any recommendations?

    You need to install a good cached plugins, optimized CSS, Js…

    Speed task is out of support. It is extra task.

    You can hire a speed dev to do this.

    Or you can hire my team to do this.
